Why I Made the Switch to Safer Skincare

Everyone tells you your whole word changes when having a baby. Boy were they right. Down to every last thought that crosses my mind..

I worry when I walk down the steps with her, I don’t always sleep when she sleeps, because I worry why she’s so quiet , hell, I’m making whipped bone marrow, which I never even knew existed before having her 🤣

Same goes what I place on her. I only want the best. There’s a list of ingredients I won’t place on my own skin, because even my grown full functioning body can’t handle the toxins, so how in the world could she?!

As a matter of fact, clinical trial studies confirm phthalates & parabens tested positive in breast milk in mothers using conventional skin care products. WHAT?! Let that sink in.

Not breastfeeding? How many times a day do you get up in your babies face kissing their cheeks, or them slapping you in the face 🤣 you don’t want those toxins transferring to their hands & mouth that way either

That’s why I finally chose to become part of the Beautycounter movement. My own never list is what they test against continuously, yet their products still work. I’ve used many natural skin care products, often made up of minimal ingredients & they just don’t match up in terms of effectiveness

You’ve seen my skin & beauty regimen is comprised of many Beauty Counter products, but you better believe Lailah’s is too, including their baby wash, daily protection balm, diaper cream, and don’t think twice about it. Crossing any stressor off the list is a huge win when you have a baby, because lord knows how many others there are 🤣

So there’s my why, both for my own health & my growing family’s health too. I would never promote anything I don’t 100% believe in. I truly believe making the safer switch is a huge piece to my hormonal healing journey & so I can’t help but share that awareness

To celebrate my joining, I’ll be doing some exclusive promotions later this month with Beautycounter if you want to be the first to know about upcoming launches, sales, and personal promotions from 🏼‍♀️ & want to know about clean skin & beauty care in general, send me your email so I can add you to my safer beauty tribe mailing list; you won’t miss a beat!
